LPG Crisis Deepens — Government Acts

The ongoing Iran-US war has created a severe LPG shortage across India. The government has issued a controversial new directive: households with PNG (piped natural gas) connections must surrender their LPG cylinders and will no longer receive refills or new connections. Domestic LPG cylinders now retail at ₹913 in New Delhi following a recent ₹60 hike — adding to the financial burden on ordinary households.
