The India Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert for Delhi-NCR today, March 15. Heavy rain with thunder, strong winds and lightning has hit the national capital region, providing relief from scorching heat but causing traffic delays and waterlogging in low-lying areas. If you are driving or flying out of IGI Airport today, expect significant delays.
